This year's Angel Tree program is dedicated to supporting two charities in the Dallas area: The Salvation Army and Family Gateway, an organization near and dear to the Good Shepherd community. Through your student's participation, we can brighten the holidays for families in need and empower communities with essential resources.

Join us in making a difference this holiday season by spreading generosity and hope to those who need it most. All students—from our youngest learners in PDO to our Eighth graders—are encouraged to participate.

Important Dates

Friday, Nov. 14  |  Permission Slips Due
Parents must submit a digital permission slip by Friday, Nov. 14 in order for their student to adopt an ornament from the tree. If you have multiple children at Good Shepherd, you will need to submit a separate permission slip for each child. The digital permission slip form can be found here.

Tuesday, Nov. 18  |  Adoption Day
Each class will visit the Angel Tree, and students will select an ornament representing one of our charity partners. Each participating student will receive a packet with details for the charity they have chosen.

Monday, Dec. 1 & Tuesday, Dec. 2   |  Gift Return Days
Bring NEW, UNWRAPPED gifts, gift cards, or pre-bagged Salvation Army Angel gifts to Kincaid Pavilion between 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on either Dec. 1 or Dec. 2. It is very important that all gifts are received no later than 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 2.

Tuesday, Dec. 9  |  Celebration of Giving
Good Shepherd students will celebrate with charity representatives at an all-school gathering on campus. Parents do not need to attend.
