University Collaboration

Collaboration creates something greater than the sum of its parts. We believe Stanford University’s and Good Shepherd Episcopal School's collaboration does just that! As part of our work with the, Good Shepherd will host the Stanford’s K12 Educators' Workshop on June 20 - 22, 2018. Registration is $1200 per participant. It is an incredible opportunity for educators to learn how to cultivate the creative capacity and confidence in their students and in themselves!

This summer, we will welcome new k12Lab directors Laura McBain and Sam Seidel who presented some amazing new things at SXSWEdu regarding educator mindsets. They plan to share these things with us this summer including the #Escapethtest Truck that they unveiled in Austin last month!

Please consider joining us for a brand new version of the original Educators’ Workshops. And PLEASE share with your colleagues. This is a new and exciting twist on what has been an exciting collaboration between Stanford University and Texas!

Stanford’s Design Thinking method provides a process to amplify creativity and innovation while building empathy and promoting mindfulness. The cost of the workshop includes breakfast and lunch each day.

Exciting professional learning is best when it truly impacts student learning. There is ample evidence that the’s design thinking process supports, stretches, and ignites students’ thinking!

We are thrilled that the faculty is coming back to Good Shepherd Episcopal School. We think it says something about our students, our faculty, and our school!
