Dear Good Shepherd Families,
“Our Future Is Strong” is a series of brief, informative emails/posts which began April 30, 2020 to keep the community informed about the ways we will live together as a community during the pandemic.
In this edition, we will discuss our upcoming virtual Town Hall to be held on December 10, 2020, including:
Town Hall Purpose
Easy to Join Format
The purpose of the virtual Town Hall is to allow me to connect with you, our parents, while we socially distance during the pandemic. I encourage you to submit questions HERE in advance of the meeting date, so I can respond effectively and more broadly to the full community in a live stream. I look forward to fielding your questions in this format and hope to provide an insight into life on the Good Shepherd campus as we continue to educate your children on-campus as well as off.
The format of the virtual Town Hall will be an easy-to-join question and answer session moderated by Crayton Webb, Good Shepherd parent and CEO of Sunwest Communications, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The questions will come from you, as I mentioned, and can fall into many categories such as COVID-19 protections, educating our students during the pandemic, Dallas county collaboration, looking to the future, or whatever you want to ask. We are anticipating many more questions than we will have time to answer, so I will respond to as many as I can during the virtual Town Hall.
I anticipate terrific response to this Town Hall, and I welcome the opportunity to be with you soon, even if it has to be virtually! Please watch for your invitation and reminders to join this special event.
“Our Future Is Strong” will be distributed periodically to continue to keep our community together and informed. We have also posted this entire series on our Coronavirus (COVID-19) webpage for your reference.
Together we are #gsesStrong,
Julie McLeod, Ph.D.
