Mindful Parenting: How to Respond Instead of React

This week, we focused on preparing our 8th graders for their upcoming ISEE testing through a lesson on mindfulness. Studies show a practice of mindfulness helps students focus better, leading to increased learning, improved mental health and wellbeing, and better decision-making and social skills. One way we can encourage mindfulness in our children is by modeling mindfulness.
