Dear Good Shepherd Families,
The Tuition Assistance application process for the 2021-2022 school year has begun!
Good Shepherd Episcopal School is committed to making our education affordable for as many families as possible. About 22% of our families receive some level of tuition assistance.
Statistically, we know once a student joins our Good Shepherd community, families want their children to remain here through eighth grade, and we want to do our part to make that happen. We also know how fortunate we are that about 39% of our families have more than one child enrolled at Good Shepherd. While we do not give tuition reductions for the number of children a family has in private schools, we are sensitive to this being the tipping point in some families’ ability to stay at our school. We encourage all of our families with multiple students to discuss their options for tuition assistance.
If you are thinking of applying for assistance for the first time and would like to meet to discuss the program, or if you are a previous applicant and your circumstances have changed, please contact Megan Sanders, firstname.lastname@example.org, to schedule a virtual appointment.
CLICK HERE for a downloadable checklist of required information for the tuition assistance application, and the online application is now available at www.solutionsbysss.com. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, December 18, 2020. Tuition Assistance award amounts will be communicated at the time re-enrollment contracts are published at the end of January 2021. Families who have a Standard Annual Contract, or those who are moving into a new Division, will receive a new contract inclusive of any tuition assistance amounts awarded. If you are in a Divisional Contract, you will receive a letter informing you of your tuition award and its impact on any tuition amounts due for the upcoming school year.
