Welcome back to all our returning families, and a warm welcome to our new families joining the Good Shepherd Episcopal School community!
The Good Shepherd Parents’ Organization (GSPO) consists of volunteer parents who provide additional support for the school through fundraising, community-building events, and special programs throughout the year. The GSPO hopes to encourage community and connection within our school.
While this year will look different from a fundraising and community-building perspective, we are hopeful we will be able to connect virtually and host some larger events in the spring. In addition, GSPO organizes such programs as the Angel Tree Service Outreach, Birthday Treats, Room Parents, and Teacher Treats, to name just a few.
All Good Shepherd Episcopal School parents are members of the GSPO, and we could not do it without YOU! Parent involvement is key to our success. Please stay updated with our GSPO events and activities, as well as volunteer opportunities, in the Community section of the GSES website at www.gsesdallas.org. In addition, the weekly E-news will keep you informed and connected so you can join us in support of Good Shepherd.
The incoming 2020-2021 GSPO board and its many volunteers have been hard at work since this summer. Thank you to these wonderful parent volunteers for giving their time and talents towards making our school truly exceptional!
We hope your children are enjoying their GSES-branded masks, a gift from the GSPO. Please be sure to support our first official fundraiser of the year - the GSES Spirit Store - with several uniform and spirit-day approved options. Look for more information in your child’s Monday folder and in your child’s homeroom/advisory emails or news communications.
My sincere wishes for a fabulous school year to you and your families!
