Join us for Grandparents' Day at Good Shepherd!
Our students warmly invite grandparents and grandfriends to campus for a special day of celebration and connection. Enjoy exploring our beautiful campus and meeting members of the Good Shepherd community.
To ensure a comfortable experience for all, arrival times are staggered by division level. Complimentary valet parking is at the main entrance of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, under the covered driveway. Click here for the valet and self-parking map.

Good Shepherd students are welcome to join their siblings and grandparent(s) at each session! Please note which divisions are accessible during the time frame.
Early Childhood
(Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Primer)
8:15 a.m. | Refreshments in the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church atrium
8:30 a.m. | Welcome from Dr. Julie McLeod, Head of School, and chapel service in the sanctuary
9 a.m. | Classroom visits and campus highlights
10 a.m. | Early Childhood Grandparents’ Day concludes
Please note: Only the Early Childhood area will be accessible during this time.
Lower School
(1st - 4th Grades)
9:15 a.m. | Refreshments in the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church atrium
9:30 a.m. | Welcome from Dr. Julie McLeod, Head of School, and chapel service in the sanctuary
10 a.m. | Classroom visits and campus highlights
11 a.m. | Lower School Grandparents’ Day concludes

Middle School
(5th - 8th Grades)
10:15 a.m. | Refreshments in the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church atrium

11 a.m. | Classroom visits and campus highlights
12 p.m. | Middle School Grandparents’ Day concludes
Please note: Both the Lower and Middle School areas will be accessible from 10-11 a.m. From 11 a.m.-12 p.m., only the Middle School area will be accessible.

For more than two decades, Good Shepherd has hosted our annual Grandparents’ Day. This time-honored tradition is one of our most anticipated spring events.

The Library | Browse the Book Fair, visit the SPARQ space, or record a memory in the Podcast booth.
CCL (outside the Library) | Shop for Cougar apparel at the GSPO Spirit Store.
Nichols Lobby | Find the "Button Guy" to get your commemorative photo button.
Kincaid Pavilion | Work with your grandchild on a community service project.
Classroom Tours | Visit our Art, Spanish, and Music rooms, or stop by the courtyard to see our PE teachers.
Reflection & Discovery | Visit Mackey Chapel or explore the new Tad Long Classroom of the Earth Base Camp, including the Matthew & Jack Rogers COE Classroom and The Kashyap Family Gateway.
