Join Us for Grandparents' Day at Good Shepherd!
Our students warmly invite grandparents and grandfriends to campus for a special day of celebration and connection. Enjoy exploring our beautiful campus and meeting members of the Good Shepherd community.
To ensure a comfortable experience for all, arrival times are staggered by grade level. Please use the Northaven Road entrance to the school. Complimentary valet parking will be available at Kincaid Pavilion. Click here for the valet and self-parking map.

Early Childhood
(Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Primer)
Older Good Shepherd students are welcome to join their younger siblings and grandparent(s) for this session! Please note: only the Early Childhood area will be accessible during this time.
8:30-8:45 a.m. | Please enter through Kincaid Pavilion and help yourself to coffee and refreshments
8:45-9 a.m. | Welcome from Dr. Julie McLeod, Head of School, and chapel program with Mother Stephanie Moncrieff
9-10 a.m. | Visit your student’s classroom and enjoy these other stops on campus:
- Library and book fair
- SPARQ space
- Podcast booth
- GSPO spirit shop for GSES spirit wear
- “Button Guy” to get your Grandparents’ Day photo button
- Art, Spanish, and music classrooms
- Mackey Chapel
- Classroom of the Earth station
- Playground
- Courtyard
10 a.m. | Early Childhood Grandparents’ Day concludes
Lower School
(1st - 4th Grades)
Good Shepherd students are welcome to join their siblings and grandparent(s) for this session! Please note: both the Lower and Middle School areas will be accessible from 10-11 a.m.

If you have a younger Good Shepherd sibling, please attend the younger student’s designated start time. Please note: both the Lower and Middle School areas will be accessible from 10-11 a.m. From 11 a.m.-12 p.m., only the Middle School area will be accessible.
