Good Wins

Good Shepherd believes athletics is an integral part of the middle school experience. All students are encouraged to play sports to learn fundamental skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. Through competitive play our athletes learn success is not determined by wins and losses, but rather by the effort and desire the athletes show on the court and field.Athletics Philosophy

Seventh and eighth-graders can compete at the interscholastic level in Baseball, Basketball, Cross-Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Track & Field, and Volleyball.

Parents and our Physical Education team also help facilitate GSES intramural teams for our younger Cougars through the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. Those options include: Soccer, Flag Football, and Tee Ball for Pre-K students. Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Softball for kindergarten through second grade students. And Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, and Softball for third-sixth grade students.
