Fit For Our Future campaign

Fit For Our Future is a campus-wide fundraising campaign that will replace Trinity Hall. The new, 14,983-square-foot multi-use facility, featuring a regulation-sized gymnasium, will be used for daily physical education classes, sporting events, and school community gatherings. It will also include a new space for Classroom of the Earth, all while ensuring the safety and security of our campus.

The broad scope of the Fit For Our Future campaign will enhance academics, athletics, school safety, and COE, thus supporting the development of the body, mind, and spirit of our student body, and allowing our faculty and staff to focus their effort on educating students now and into the future. The GSES Board of Trustees enthusiastically joins our faculty, staff, and the family community in supporting the Fit For Our Future campaign.Bet Todd,Emeritus President of the Good Shepherd Board of Trustees, Alumni Parent

To honor the foundation Good Shepherd gave our children

“We chose to support the new gym project because of how much we value the foundation that Good Shepherd gave to both our children. Classroom of the Earth and the lessons that Tad Long taught have influenced so many young people. It is our hope that other alumni families will consider honoring Tad and Good Shepherd by contributing to this new building that will help the school community for years to come.”

—The Walker Family (Reid, Stacey, Gus ‘14, & Annie ‘16)

To support the well-being and development of every child at Good Shepherd

“We’re proud to support the Fit For Our Future campaign because we believe in the importance of creating a space where all students can grow, play, and thrive. Investing in the new gym is about more than just a building—it’s about supporting the well-being and development of every child at Good Shepherd, including our daughter Charlotte. We’re excited to be part of a project that will serve the school community for generations to come.”

— The Li Family (Jiyang, Shuyi, & Charlotte ‘33)

To invest in a brighter future for this community

“God has blessed our family with treasures and talents. We teach our daughters about stewardship as we steward these gifts. As members of Good Shepherd, our donation to the Fit For Our Future campaign serves as a meaningful way for us to invest in a brighter future for this community.”

—The Moncrieff Family (Scott, Stephanie, Eleanor ‘33, & Madeline, PDO)

Grow Our Facilities

Fit For Our Future is a pivotal initiative for Good Shepherd — ushering a new era of excellence for our school community. Centered on a remarkable building project that will replace Trinity Hall with a modern, regulation-sized gymnasium, the gym will be the epicenter for various gatherings that bring together our students, families, and dedicated staff. Moreover, its design as a Category 5 storm shelter will add an extra layer of safety and resilience to our campus.

Increase Our Capacity

Classroom of the Earth is a signature program offered by Good Shepherd that teaches the value and importance of mindfulness and environmental stewardship through hands-on learning. Fit For Our Future will provide improved storage, meeting space, and workspace to facilitate the program for all grades.

Strengthen Our Campus

The safety of our students and staff is paramount for GSES administrators. We're enhancing security across campus — building a Category 5 storm shelter within the new gym, installing access-controlled gates and fences, reinforced security doors, door alarm sensors, and a comprehensive access control system with cameras. Additionally, we've completed a perimeter fence screen at Kelsoe Cottage. Ensuring our students' safety remains our top priority.
